Vick's Café Greystones

I got full breakfast at roughly 12:30. I was glad they still served breakfast after 12, everything tasted really good, I got my order after a minute's wait.

The café looked like a really cool place when we first walked by. There was only one free table outside, the food looked delicious, and everyone seemed happy and relaxed, so we decided to come back later for brunch.

We took a menu, sat down at the only available table, and started deciding what to order. There were lots of cute dogs and birds around stealing food from tables, which honestly added to the atmosphere.

However, there was also an empty cup and a small milk jug left on our table from the previous guests. A few moments later, the waitress brought coffee to the table next to us and asked if they wanted milk. When the guy said yes, she picked up the already-used milk jug from our table and handed it to him to pour into his coffee.

We were honestly shocked. We immediately got up and left. I can’t understand how this could be considered acceptable hygiene or service in any café. After seeing that, I can only wonder what else happens behind the scenes.

Definitely a place to avoid.

Stumbled upon this place over Xmas during a dark cold morning but had breakfast today for the first time after my sea swim :) Nice small cafe located in the village with the beach on its rear, it would remind you of being on holidays. Prices are very reasonable! And staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The selection of goodies looked fresh, and the coffee hit the spot! I will def return again :)
